His Excellency Nasser S. Judeh is a distinguished Jordanian statesman with more than three decades of leadership in diplomacy, public service, and international engagement. He served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates from 2015 to 2017, following six years as Minister of Foreign Affairs—making him one of Jordan’s longest-serving foreign ministers.

Throughout his government career, he held several senior roles, including Minister of State for Media Affairs and Information, Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Government, and Minister of Information. Earlier, he led key national media institutions as Director General of the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation and Director of Jordan Television. He also served as Director of the Jordan Information Bureau in London and as Principal Private and Press Secretary to the Crown Prince at the Royal Hashemite Court.

His Excellency has also contributed significantly to multilateral diplomacy. He served on the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on Internal Displacement and the High-Level Advisory Board on Mediation and was a member of the Independent Eminent Persons Panel on Peacebuilding. During Jordan’s term on the UN Security Council, he served as President of the Council in 2014–2015.

He sits on the Boards of Trustees of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, and the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan and is Vice Chairman of the World Affairs Council in Jordan. His previous roles include membership on the International Advisory Board of Project Associates and the Board of Trustees of the Sir Bani Yas Forum, as well as serving as a Centennial Fellow at Georgetown University.

In the private sector, he is Chairman and CEO of Al-Tariq Investments and Consultancy in Amman and previously served as Chairman of Information & Communications Expertise (ICE).

His Excellency Judeh holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and completed his schooling at Eastbourne College in the United Kingdom and Collège de La Salle in Amman.
