Admissions to the Post-Graduate Diploma programme
To apply for AGDA’s Post-Graduate Diploma programme and begin a career in diplomacy, applicants should satisfy the following minimum admissions criteria:
- Is a UAE National or son/daughter of an Emirati woman.
- Is 35 years old or younger
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college recognised by the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE)
- GPA: Minimum of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 550 or equivalent (computer-based TOEFL score of 213, Internet-based TOEFL score of 79-80), or IELTS (academic): Minimum score of 6.0
- Have completed their national service (for male applicants)
Admissions to the MA Programmes
To apply for the MAGAD or MAHAD programme, prospective participants
need to:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university
- Have graduated with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), or equivalent
- English Language Requirement: TOEFL - Minimum score of 550 or equivalent (computer-based TOEFL score of 213, Internet-based TOEFL score of 79-80), or IELTS (academic): Minimum score of 6.5
Applications are accepted for the 2026 – 2027 academic year based on the following timelines:
- Post-Graduate Diploma program application period: February 4 – March 31, 2026
- Master’s programs application period: April 13 – May 15, 2026
