Majid Bin Zawbaa is an Emirati youth leader and strategic industry professional, currently serving as Group Vice President and Strategic Accounts Manager at ABB, a global leader in automation, energy solutions, and advanced technologies. In this capacity, he supports industrial transformation and innovation across the region and internationally.

He is the youngest member of the Board of Trustees of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, where he represents the voice of youth and contributes to shaping the Academy’s strategic direction.

Majid also serves as Chairman of the UAE Youth Council for the Private Sector (Nafis Youth Council), leading national initiatives in partnership with the Emirati Talent and Competitiveness Council (Nafis) and the Federal Youth Authority to empower Emirati talent in the private sector.

Internationally, he has represented the United Arab Emirates at the G20 Youth Summit (Y20) in South Africa, served as the Asia and Middle East Leader for Young Professionals at the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) for 2024–2025, and is a member of the Global Young Professionals Committee at the International Society of Automation (ISA). Majid graduated with distinction and honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UAE University, ranking first among Emirati students in the College of Engineering.

He is also a graduate of the inaugural cohort of the UAE Government Leaders Program for the Private Sector (Nafis Leadership Program). He received First Place in the Nafis Award for Best Emirati Employee in the Engineering Category in the UAE Private Sector, presented by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Qasr Al Watan.

Through his various leadership roles, Majid Bin Zawbaa contributes to youth empowerment, national skills development, and strengthening the UAE’s global presence in both industry and diplomacy.
