Apply for AGDA’s Post-Graduate Diploma programme
To apply for AGDA’s Post-Graduate Diploma programme and begin a career in diplomacy, candidates must:
- Be a UAE National or Children of Emirati Women
- Already have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or diploma obtained by June 2021 with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Have a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or take the IELTS exam soon and score 6.5 (as a minimum)
- Be 35 years old or younger.
- Understand that by applying to AGDA, they are also applying for employment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
- Be willing to travel and serve abroad.
- Have completed their national service (for male applicants).

To apply for MAGAD and MAHAD, prospective participants need to:
- Be a UAE national
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university, with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Obtain a minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS exam
