Dr Muhamad Olimat is a Professor of International Relations and Middle East Politics at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA). He teaches courses on international security, foreign policy, and regional studies.

His areas of expertise include the Middle East and North Africa, the US foreign policy towards the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Central Asia and Sino-Greater Middle Eastern relations.

Dr Olimat is the author of five books and several articles, essays and book-chapters on the Middle East, the Middle East’s political economy, and its international relations. 

Dr. Olimat holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of North Texas.
