In this role, she provides overall leadership, development, implementation and management of executive training programs. She also works cooperatively with the leadership team to make strategic decisions that lead to achieving the academy’s goals and developing a strategic vision for developing and delivering high-quality innovative programs for executive training. In addition, she oversees the implementation of new systems, processes, policies and streamlines existing ones to improve program support and delivery for the executive training programs.

Asma has twelve years of experience in higher education and executive education. Prior to her current position, she served as E-learning and Executive Training Manager at AGDA, managing e-learning services and delivering the learning platforms to educators for driven results, from designing technology hardware to producing and presenting learning materials. 

Prior to joining AGDA, Asma worked at Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) as Educational Technology Specialist, promoting technology integration into the curriculum and designing and implementing technology-driven courses. She started her career in education as a Computer and Information Science Faculty at HCT, teaching courses in the discipline area of Computer and Information Sciences. Asma Al Blooshi earned a master’s in information technology – specialising in Project Management from HCT.

Asma is a motivator of people through a positive outlook on life, bringing a vast network of likewise peers and colleagues, collating people to achieve life and business goals. An experience ambassador and team leader to world-leading conferences, such as the EXPO in China 2010 and Korea 2012, to the COP in Morocco 2016, Germany 2017 and Spain 2019. 

As a Prince 2 certified, she constantly delivers project completion on time through enhanced collaboration in virtual and physical networks, encouraging responsibility from all members. Attention to detail as a conformer and creator of high standards, with the skillset to develop new performance standards that become integrated into firm strategies.
